ANTIQUE CHIC: My style is antique chic with a touch of every family member who is close to me. I love to wear antiques the most and vintage is always fun, but it’s vintage hand me downs from my Grandmother’s Antique Store that get me the most! I love the story behind the items considering how old they are and the fact that someone else has owned it before me. I see it as a very thought provoking thing and I like to think about what life must have been like back when the old piece of clothing, jewelry or accessories was worn first.

FASHION AND STYLE: Fashion fades, but only style remains (Coco Chanel) Chanel seemed to know the exact difference and I feel like fashion is whatever is chic at the time. Style is constant and changing with you as you live throughout your years.

TATTOO TALES: I have a tattoo of script from the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on the inside of my left arm. It’s four lines and it inspired Michel Gondry and Charlie Kauffman to write the script for Eternal Sunshine. It’s taken from a poem about lovers called, “Eloisa to Abelard.” It’s a beautiful movie that inspires me every time I watch it. The soundtrack by Mac Brion is also haunting.

WHAT IS THE MOST FASHIONABLE COSTUME YOU’VE EVER SEEN? I’m a costume designer, so I see costumes all day every day. I really love when people end up pulling off Margot Tenenbaum.. I really admire that!

WARDROBE FOR A DAY: If I could time travel back into the 1940’s and 1950’s.. I’d like to know what it was like in my Great Grandmother Frisina’s wardrobe. I have a few of her party dresses and night gowns and they are so elegant and timeless… I still wear them and admire them even today.

FALLING IN LOVE: What am I looking forward to wearing this fall… it’s a secret! But, I’ve been collecting them in my closet for quite some time and I’m finally ready to start wearing them in chilly weather!

SUMMER ESSENTIALS: I’ve been painting as much as I can, sewing up a storm of bow ties, falling in love with a certain boy named Nathan, and working at a vintage store called, “Dandelion Vintage.” Working there has taught me so much and I am so happy to be a part of the family! I’ve really loved listening to Arcade Fire, Atlas Sound, Henry Belafonte, and Department of Eagles.
